EU project on nutrient cycles with first interim results

After 18 months of project duration, our institute has now presented and published the first interim results of its own research work. According to this, nitrogen fertilisation for the production of baking wheat should be reduced, especially in dry weather. Details on the objectives, the trials and the methods can be found in our leaflet "Circular Agronomics: Case Study Brandenburg".

"Circular Agronomics" is a 4-year research project on material cycles in agriculture within the framework of the EU programme HORIZON 2020. Within the project network, IASP is researching the nitrogen efficiency of winter wheat, the improved application of biogas fermentation residues and the conversion of farm manure into mineral fertiliser.
